Sarah In Between Birthday Balloons
Originally Uploaded by Sarah Joelle. This is a little late, but it was my 21st Birthday on May 6th! I went to go visit Ty to celebrate this momentous occasion. I am legal, not that it means much, but I am now an official adult. My boyfriend Tyler Knott took this silly photo of me in my Birthday tiara and lei. Thank you to Ty, Goose and Jan for making my Birthday so fun and memorable! I love you all so much!

Sarah Arms in Hair Looking Off Away
Originally Uploaded by Sarah Joelle. My amazingly talented photographer-of-a-boyfriend, Tyler Knott, decided to build a studio backdrop, which I helped with, and take photos of three of the six most important women in his life. (His older sister Rian lives out of town and Hobbes and Gertie were uninvolved, but Jan, McGraw and I were the subjects.) Tyler's younger sister, McGraw, his mom, Jan, and I got to be models for the day and we had a blast. We were a little on the nervous side at first, but we got kinda silly and made it fun by the end of the shoot. A lot of the photos that we took, we tried out our "pretend model" poses and surprisingly enough, most of them turned out great!! So thank you for allowing us to feel pretty for the day and being the incredible photographer that you are Ty.
So go check out Tyler Knott's amazing Photography and let him know how amazing you think he is!
I Love you Tyler Knott!!

Hobbes and I
Originally Uploaded by Sarah Joelle. So I just back from visiting my boyfriend, Tyler, in Montana for my spring break and I had such an amazing time! We (well, he) got a new golden retriever puppy named Hobbes and she is our new baby girl. I got to spend the whole week with her and bond as her new Mommy. She is almost three-months-old and is such an angel. She is practically potty trained and can sit, lay down, and wait for you to put her food on the ground before she can eat. She is beautiful, smart, loving and an amazing addition to the start of mine and Tyler's family. I love her almost as much as I love my Ty and I cannot wait until we can spend everyday together and not have to continue with this burdening long distance. When I left for the airport this morning I cried as hard having to leave her as I did leaving my baby.
You can go check out more pics of our new baby and my trip to Montana on Tyler's Flickr or TylerKnott.com. I Love you with all my heart Ty and Hobbesies!! Thank you for all your love.

Ok, so I've been really bad. I have been so unbearably busy with school and everything and I haven't posted. I have only been doing this for what, two weeks and I am pathetic and have only posted a few times. Well, let's get this done. So I know I am girly, but I am pumped about the Bachelor finale tonight. Even though I have cleared any doubt in my mind that that doctor has any brains at all, I have put my opinions aside and am excited. Last night, however, I was really happy when I watched the finale and results of Dancing With the Stars. Ok, I admit it, as much as I love and have been supporting the Winter Olympics, I switched back and forth between the closing ceremonies and Dancing With the Stars. But anyhow, I wanted to share with you a fun little fact I found out about the show: Stacy, the WWE wrestler, was in fact, a trained dancer. I know, it is both saddening and sickening at the same time. So that directed all my support towards Drew Lachey and his partner Sheryl. Besides his boy band days, he has never danced and I really admire his drive and dedication. Besides, he imporved immensely over the months that they rehearsed and he turned out to be a good little dancer. That is enough from my girlie side for now. Go Drew and Sheryl!

I know, I know, what is with all the posts about the Olympics, but two isn't that many, right? At any rate, I wanted to discuss and reiterate my point about the strength both mentally and physically of the Olympians. Just tonight I was watching the Pair Skating Finals and was watching the final team perform. It was Zhang Dan and Zhang Hao from China and an incredibly unfortunate accident happened when they were throwing their quadruple Salchow. She did not finish her rotations and when watching the video in slow motion it looked as though she hyper extended her knee and then fell. Painful!! She took a few moments to recoup, but she was brave enough to take on the challenge of finishing their routine with an injured knee. They finished the routine beautifully, with only a few bobbles from her hurt knee, but finished with confidence, strength and a ton of adrenaline. There have been more incredible moments like this that have happened to some other Olympic competitors, but this just took the cake for me. She is twenty years old, took a hard fall and hyper extended her knee, but continued on and her and her partner won the silver medal. I am so proud of them am so happy for their accomplishments, even though they are not American. Oh well!
I promise I will start writing about stuff other than the Olympics, but they are so important to the world right now and I feel I must be part of the action somehow!
